He was born on October 10, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Oliver and Geraldine Hartman Danko. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Krislund Camp and Conference Center, 189 Krislund Dr, Madisonburg, PA or to the State College Presbyterian Church, 132 E Beaver Avenue, State College, PA 16801. Following his military service he attended The University of Pittsburgh where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business in 1960. Our firm traces its roots back, deep into the 20th century, when our first facility was dedicated. Many years later, this location has seen renovations and changes, but has always been and will continue to be an integral part of this community.
Memories may be shared and viewed on his obituary page. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Aubrey, Kendall and Stella Danko. Jim's life was built around the love of his family, his entrepreneurial spirit, his love of business and his love of sailing.

During his life he had keen interests in cars, horses, dogs, and firearms. His main intellectual interests were military history, financial markets and investing. He made friends everywhere he went and never met a stranger.

Michael James Granbois, 82, of Lancaster, formerly of Conestoga, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Mike was born March 24, 1940 to Kenneth and Margaret Granbois in Conestoga, Pennsylvania, the only child. Mike was raised in Safe Harbor Village ; the family farm in Buck, PA; and the city of Lancaster. He graduated from Bordentown Military Institute in 1959 and was a member of the wrestling and rifle teams.

Published funeral sermons were most popular from about 1550 to about 1750. They usually contain information such as names, dates, places, relatives, life histories, and sometimes pedigrees for many generations. Eulogies are subject to error because the information was given by relatives who did not always remember facts accurately. A celebration of life is planned for later in the Spring.
